HGUC RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Destroy Mode

      Finally after few years of it's release I got it off the store rack! Unlike the new HGUC Banshee Norm, it doesn't come with a clear psychoframe runner.

      Aside from it's antennae and armaments, everything else is similar to Gundam Unicorn 01, a little painting is required if one doesn't want to use the foil stickers provided.

 Armed Armor VN and BS

       Armed Armor VN (vibrating nails) - "open-claws" gimmicks are included in HGUC Banshee Norm Unicorn mode if one wants the claw to look more bad-ass !

       Armed armor BS (beam smart gun) - weapon introduced only in the OVA version of the anime, a spare right hand is included if "manga version" is preferred.

 Unit 01 and Unit 02

     Sadly, I didn't buy Unit 03 Phenix few months ago, it was a limited premium kit and totally sold out. Else I'd could compare between the 3 units.

 Standard shield is also included !

 Does it look like Banshee Norm ? 

      The sad part of it is the very tiny beam saber holder of it's backpack. I broke it right after I finish assembled it and had to clone it back, lucky I have the experience with unit 01 I had for sometime now. Everything else favors me as expected from new HGUC kits, detailed and solid.   

HGUC MSN-001A1 Delta Plus

         It's been sometime now I've been thinking of getting either this or ReZel types kits in addition to my HGUC collection. I spot this guy ( last box ) while doing some Easter shopping, reasonable price so I just grab and buy !

        

         Delta Plus is one of the earlier GundamUC HGUC kit together with Unicorn and the rest. It's actually a dark-colored Hyaku Shiki with some minor change in it's body and armament changes. It's quite simple to assemble and very minor panel lining required.      

       Here's some details about it's body

        That head unit looks almost exactly like Hyaku Shiki's. Took me about 2-3 hours to finish it up, it's overall is very sturdy and can balance well, very solid too.

      Standard armaments, it's long rifle is smaller than a ReZel-type's, gun and missile mounted shield (don't know if it's intended to be a shield or not), and blue colored beam sabers (weirdly 2 beam effect part provided but only one open hand and saber stick given)

 

     Waverider form -   Before I have this kit I always wondered how was the transform method applied to new ReZel-types and Delta-types kits, because I know transformable kits have a huge problem with joints-wear especially if it's heavy. It seems like Delta Plus have the mechanism like old HGUC Zeta, a totally independent center unit introduced, while limbs, wings and armaments is assembled onto the center unit.

         This idea is really good since it fixes the wear problem while making the wave-rider form very solid and sturdy.

      Overall, I can say I'm quite satisfied with it. Simple built with minor issues, it's nub-marks can be easily treated with panel marker because of it's dark colors. A great addition to the HGUC family !

HGUC YAMS-132 Rozen Zulu

Woot I honestly wasn't expecting this guy but yay ! Since I first saw it's first appearance in the Gundam UC OVA I thought "damn why ain't they make this monster into HGUC ?" , then it really hit the stores with a pricey price on the tag, whew.

If you notice closely it's body composition isn't far from a Geara Zulu, with added Sinanju and Hamma-hamma parts. And those high-heels... it's the third I had in my collection.

Guess all the UC version of  Neo Zeon suits have crests on the chest parts. 

Hands/claws - That's all it has, without a hand expect no beam sabers and stuff from Rozen Zulu.

Shield - I wonder why not dual mounted shields, since it has no other hands-on weapon. Oh well, the shield is simple and bold, almost no panel-lining required at all.

I can't imagine a bootleg version of this, but thank god for the good balance Bandai. It can stood pretty sturdy despite the high-heels (oh girl stuff ...)  

Mega particle cannon shield !!!

INCOM Claws -Oh yes, this is the main attraction of this stuff. Retractable hands !!! One of the coolest wired remote weapon gimmick, yet the most complex (it mean hard to be assembled) I'm not really sure if I should cut the wires that was given, but the method I used work although it seems to be a bit shortened.  

Rose...buds? It's called Psycho Jammer I guess, some might think it's ridiculous but well ...

It's overall cool, (almost) faithfully molded as the OVA version. If hobbyist wants perfection there's gonna be a lot of painting required, all the white lines are stickers, to me it did pretty good job as details. As for the close-to-brown parts I have no idea why, it should be deep purple in the first place, oh well ... still a nice piece of work, bravo.
