SEED HG GAT-X252 Forbidden Gundam

YES ! After enduring drawback from buying too much gunpla, finally I got this box. Forbidden Gundam is one of the mad-trio MS, with a scythe as a melee weapon and kinda transform into a mobile armor.

Weapons:

Nidhoggr Scythe

Armfeuer 115mm machine guns

Mobile Armor mode :

Eckzahn 88mm railguns + Hresvelgr plasma induction cannon

Geschmeidig Panzer Shields

Well, the shell on it's back is heavy but it's legs can hold it sturdy enough. Pose ability is kinda limited but compared to it's brothers, win. Despite being old I like it's poses with the scythe, so badass.

SEED HG GAT-X370 Raider Gundam

Raider Gundam, the 2nd transformable Gundam that I have seen in the Gundam SEED anime. First impression was, uhuh...so so like Aegis, the main thing that I like about it was the "Gundam Hammer" it carries. Also one of my favorite character in the OMNI vs ZAFT game.

Back View

Weaponary :

Dual 52mm Hyper Velocity Shield Cannon

Hammer

Ahura Mazda short-range energy cannon mounted Claws

Zorn 100mm energy cannon mounted mouth

Mobile Armor Mode:

It is a very old kit, and I bought the one that isn't remastered version, so there aren't any place that can be plug to a display stand, which is bad for a mobile armor. Manage to somehow balance it though.

M2M3 76mm machine guns mounted on both shoulders, and a M417 80mm machine gun mounted "head"

Among the trio Raider is the most bad-ass looking, with its hammer swing out it looks like wanting to pick up a fight. Though there are many negative comments on this kit about its pose'abilty limitation ( come one...it's really an old piece of kit right ) I like it as much. No offence.  And it's very easy to assemble, not much panel-lining needed because it's almost all-black.

SEED HG GAT-X131 Calamity Gundam

I always wanted to collect the mad-trio Gundams when I was still a school kid. Sadly when I got to work, I don't see them anymore at toy stores. After few years and I flew over to west Malaysia, I saw them on Jusco toy section shelf, all of them. So I bought them all !

Calamity is a little cheaper then the other 2 of the trio, probably because less plastic, but it is the bulkiest among 3, so if you prefer guns over swords Calamity is actually cool !

Weaponary :

Todesblock 337mm plasma sabot bazooka

Schlag 123mm high-energy long range beam cannons

Kaefer Zwei 115mm dual ram cannon mounted shield

Chest mounted Scylla 580mm multi-phase energy cannon

This is one of my new kits, so I assembled it with care and panel-lined every little complete parts before assembled. Also making sure I minimize the nub marks. One thing I almost screwed up with Calamity is its Scyalla ... I tried normal red paint marker, but it's too small and the paint don't really stick on plastic. Thank god I saw the foil sticker of it and use it instead, looks clean and neat, so yeah it fits and look perfect.

Although its simple I think it's awsome, so is the other 2, just love the trio since the first time I saw it on TV, was a good first impression.

*Raider and Forbidden coming soon

SEED HG GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam

Blitz, the earliest Gundam that is destroyed in the anime. Sigh... such nice cool armament, in THE GAME, Blitz is the one that I like the most among the 5 other Gs, cloaking, grabbing, the style I like the most. This kit is quite simple, it's flashy part is it's armament of course.

Trikeros System : 50mm high energy beam rifle, beam saber, 3x lancer dart

Beam blade

Gleipnir anchor

Blitz generally does not need pane lining, except some red and yellow parts needs to be paint, or use the foil sticker instead. It can be real plain if no painting/stickers is put on.

SEED HG GAT-X102 Duel Gundam

Duel Gundam, simplest among the 5 Gs, and yes there are some variants of this kit too, but the inner Duel is the same, just having a different shroud from the original.

No strings attached, because it is light it can stand on one light easily. And do some funny stuffs.

Weapon :            -2 x Igelstellug 75mm multi barrel CIWS mounted on head
                           -2 x beam sabers
-57mm high energy beam rifle + 175mm grenade launcher
Assault shroud :   -shiva 115mm railgun
                           -229mm 5 barrel missile pod
                           -shield

Buffed up - Duel Assault Shroud. Added a railgun and a missile pod. Too bad in HG the missile pod is just a foil sticker put'ed on the shoulder shroud armor. Seems like the MG version of Duel is coming out soon, from the review it looks like a very well detailed MG.

Some work is needed to detail up the shroud because its all made up of all dull grey. After the shroud is put up, the limbs movement will be limited. Well, before I learn how to detail up stuffs i wont be touching on the paint job.

SEED HG GAT-X103 Buster Gundam

Buster Gundam. Just before I went out of home town, I saw this kit lying at a little quiet toy shop, and I decided to buy it.

Weapon :
          Left-hand   : 350mm gun launcher
          Right-hand : 94mm high energy rifle
          2 x 220mm 6 barrel missile pod

There isn't much armament on the Buster. Just two buster rifles and two missile pods. One thing different about the Buster is its legs. The hip parts is separated into two, so the leg part can twist 180 degrees. Sometimes it might look unnatural but the Buster can actually stand sturdily.

Buster is a very simple kit, like the Duel without assault shroud. And by this time, many variants of Buster is already out there. But I personally still like it, as well as the rest of the 5 Gs, classic.

SEED HG GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam

HG SEED-BOX03. Yes its my first HG kit, was traveling @Penang and I saw this ancient kit with Buster and Blitz. I choose Aegis because it's the kit I like the most among the 5 Gs. It's about 4years old now but it's still intact. Whats attracting me is the MS-MA ability of this kit, consider it as a old kit, its cool. But it's fragile, the joints are small, so I don't really play a lot with it.

If it was 4 years ago, people might think this is an awsome kit. But after release of 00 kits and new HGUC, these SEED kits seems to outdated.

Aegis, the first transformable MS-MA kit from the SEED series, the kit was already out about 3-4 years ago before I even buy it.

Armament

-60mm high energy beam rifle and a shield
-Isgelstellung 75mm multi barrel CIWS mounted on head
-4x beam saber

Mobile Armor mode

Scylla 580mm energy cannon
Big bad claws is used to grapple  Strike.
Fun mode o.o (there wasn't such thing in reality)

Aegis, overall it is a cool MS. Too bad it doesn't come with twin beam blades on each hands, and better still, the twin beam blades on the feet. But still, it's still cool without them, by this time the remastered kit is already out, I was informed that there was some color change overall, but the design is still the same as the original, and a added decal. Well what the hell, it doesn't really matter, there's no point re-buy the same kit, so my Aegis is going to stay in my collection and it will always be.
